Kamal Kharazi, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and head of Iran's Strategic Council for Foreign Relations, told the Financial Times that Tehran would support Hezbollah "by all means" if a full-scale war with Israel began.
"The entire Lebanese people, the Arab countries, and the resistance axis will support Lebanon against Israel," Kharazi stated.
However, Kharazi also expressed confidence that further escalation of the conflict and its expansion “is not in the interests of either Iran or the United States.”
