Cpt. Elay Elisha Lugasi, 21, a team commander in the 7th Armored Brigade’s 75th Battalion, was killed today in combat in the in Gaza City’s Shejaiya, army says. He was from Kiryat Shmona.
The IDF reports that three other soldiers from the 75th Battalion were seriously wounded in the same battle. Their families have been notified.
322 soldiers have been killed in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip since the start of the ground operation on October 27, 2023.
