18 Palestinian minors arrested in Hadera forest for illegal entry
Hadera police, in collaboration with city patrol inspectors, conducted a raid on Saturday evening to identify illegal Palestinian entrants, who often become involved in security incidents besides violating Israel's entry laws.
During the operation, 18 Palestinian minors from Hebron and Bethlehem were found in Hadera Forest without permits to stay in Israel. They were taken into custody for questioning at the police station and subsequently placed under arrest.
Based on the interrogations and the needs of the investigation, the police will request that the court extend the detention period for some of the suspects.
