Hamas Deputy Minister killed in IDF strike in Gaza, reports PIC

Hamas' Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported that Ihab al-Ghussein, deputy labor minister in the Gaza government, was killed in a July 7 attack in Gaza City.

The report mentions that al-Ghussein's wife and daughters were killed several weeks ago, without specifying the cause of their deaths. It is suggested that an earlier attempt to eliminate al-Ghussein may have failed.

Some social media posts incorrectly refer to al-Ghussein as a "minister" in the Hamas government, but he was actually a deputy minister. PIC did not specify his role in Hamas' military operations.
