On Thursday, July 11, the IDF will release the results of its investigation into the actions of troops under the command of Brigadier General Barak Hiram during the battle with terrorists at Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7, 2023. The report was presented to Chief of Staff Herzi HaLevi on Monday, July 8.
At the request of Kibbutz Be'eri residents, the report will be presented to them on July 11 at the Dead Sea Hotel, where they are staying after the evacuation.
Excerpts from the report will also be shared with the families of the 18 IDF soldiers killed in the battle, as well as with the families of five members of the kibbutz self-defense unit.
The report will be published on a special website for public access.
