IDF soldiers injured in car bomb attack near Nir Tzvi Junction

The IDF Spokesperson's Office reported that following a car bombing near the Nir Tzvi junction, several soldiers were injured: an IDF officer and a soldier sustained serious injuries, another soldier was moderately injured, and an officer cadet suffered minor wounds.

The injured soldiers are receiving treatment at Assaf HaRofeh Hospital, and their families have been informed about the incident.

The terrorist responsible was neutralized by a MAGAV border police officer.

The attack occurred shortly after 1:00 PM near the Nir Zvi junction, close to the Tzrifin military base on the outskirts of Ramle. The terrorist specifically targeted military personnel and was shot by soldiers from the reserve company of the Mitar border police.

According to Palestinian sources, the terrorist who carried out the attack by running over soldiers near Tzrifin has been identified as 27-year-old Muhammad Shahab, a resident of Kafr Aqaba, a northern suburb of Jerusalem.
