Lapid: "Netanyahu is a crybaby and a coward"
Yair Lapid, leader of the Yesh Atid party, condemned "any kind of incitement" during a faction meeting.
"Incitement is wrong; violence is never the answer. Those who call for harm against Prime Minister Netanyahu must be investigated and held accountable," Lapid emphasized. "These actions threaten Israeli democracy and undermine legitimate protests. Violence has no place in Israel."
"Yet, Netanyahu is not a victim; he behaves like a complainer," Lapid continued. "Every soldier in Gaza faces greater risks, and every IDF fighter in Jenin is in more danger. He created a media 'poison machine', attracted foreign billionaires, and now complains about being targeted by incitement? The government spent two hours discussing this issue. Why not discuss the 101 victims in Kibbutz Be'eri or the soldier seriously injured by a drone in the north? Why not address the five female observers kidnapped in Gaza or the four soldiers injured in the terrorist attack in Tzrifin? Why not allocate time to discuss the upcoming school year or rising prices affecting the middle class? Is incitement against him the only issue that matters?"
