Avigdor Lieberman, leader of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, announced during a faction meeting that he is maintaining communication with former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
"I spoke with Bennett two days ago, and we have plans to meet next Wednesday," Lieberman stated.
He strongly criticized the draft evasion law, saying, "The draft evasion law undermines national security and unity. Goldknopf is willing to cut short the parliamentary recess just to pass this law. It's not prioritizing the needs of kidnapping victims or those displaced from their homes. That's telling."
Lieberman concluded, "The government and Knesset are on vacation while neglecting evacuees, soldiers, and reservists. This government does not deserve the public's trust."
