Special operations in West Bank: Nine suspects arrested, soldier wounded, terrorist neutralized

On July 16, IDF forces, along with the Shin Bet security service and Border Police, arrested nine suspects involved in terrorist activities in the West Bank. The detainees have been handed over to Shabak for questioning.

The operations took place in Al-Bireh, Nablus, and other towns in the Palestinian Authority. Significant funds intended for terrorism financing were confiscated.

During the operations, clashes took place. In Al-Bireh, an Israeli soldier was lightly wounded by a terrorist with a knife. The attacker was neutralized.

Some 4,400 terrorism suspects have been arrested in the Palestinian Authority since the war began on October 7, 2023. Around 1,850 of them are linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
