Brother of abducted Dani Elgarat threatens Noa Argamani with demonstrations at her home
After reports surfaced that several families of hostages, including Noa Argamani, who was freed from Hamas captivity during a special operation, will join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his trip to the United States, members of the opposing faction of hostage relatives began sharply criticizing them.
Dani Elgarat, brother of Hamas abductee Itzik Elgarat, addressed Noa Argamani on X, asking her not to participate in Netanyahu's trip, where he plans to speak before Congress.
"I heard you agreed to go with Bibi. This trip of his demonstrates that he is not taking responsibility for the failure of October 7," he wrote.
Elgarat claimed that Netanyahu is allegedly using Noa Argamani for his own purposes. He stated that as a relative of a hostage, he is glad that Noa was freed from captivity, but he expects her to participate in efforts to free other hostages or at least not hinder these efforts. Dani Elgarat asserted that Noa Argamani's participation in the trip with the prime minister reduces the chances of freeing the hostages.
"If you go with him, we will find ourselves in an absurd situation where we will have to demonstrate against you, and we don't want to do that," said Dani Elgarat. He mentioned that Netanyahu had invited other hostage relatives, but they declined, and he hopes Noa will do the same.
