US Central Command Chief Michael Kurilla arrived in Israel this week for an official visit. He was hosted by IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Office.
During his visit, Kurilla toured several Israeli military units and engaged in meetings with Israeli generals. Discussions included an assessment of the strategic landscape, enhancing regional defense cooperation, and expanding operational capabilities in response to both regional and global challenges.
The IDF Spokesperson's Office emphasized that Israel will continue strengthening its relationship with the US Armed Forces, reflecting their shared commitment to Middle East security and mutual military interests.
