Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Knesset, stating, "The more pressure we apply on Hamas, the more aggressive their campaign becomes in media and opposition speeches."
He reiterated that securing the release of hostages remains a primary goal of the conflict. "We are systematically advancing towards achieving our war objectives through a blend of diplomacy and military measures," Netanyahu emphasized.
"Hamas is in panic because despite internal and external pressures, we continue our offensive," he added.
Netanyahu asserted that while ideologies may persist, organizations can be defeated. "Just as Nazi Germany was defeated 80 years ago, we will prevail now," he declared.
Regarding international calls to halt the conflict, Netanyahu drew a historical parallel. "We cannot agree to partial solutions any more than the Allies would have occupied 80% of Germany and left Hitler's bunker untouched," he explained.
He underscored that Hamas concessions only come under pressure from the IDF. "The key is sustained pressure on Hamas, not on the Israeli government," Netanyahu stressed. "Personal pressures on me are ineffective; it is the people's resilience that strengthens our path to victory."
Addressing calls for a state investigative commission, Netanyahu challenged, "Decide what kind of war you want: one with bureaucracy or against Hamas. I aim to defeat Hamas first; then, we can review everything."
