The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that an IDF officer was killed in a grenade explosion in the Gaza Strip on the morning of July 22. The explosion did not occur during combat.
The officer's family has been notified, though the name has not yet been released.
Military police are investigating the incident, and the findings will be passed on to the military prosecutor's office.
