Demonstrators protesting the detention of reservists by military police for allegedly abusing a terrorist at the Sde Teiman detention center broke into the military base.

The military command requested assistance from the Israel Police to expel the intruders, including Knesset members.

IDF Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi condemned the breach, stating, "The intrusion into the Sde Teiman base is extremely serious and illegal. Such actions are unacceptable, especially during a state of war, as they threaten national security."

He supported the Military Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office, emphasizing, "They investigate every incident brought to their attention, regardless of rank or position. These investigations protect our soldiers at home and abroad and uphold IDF values. They are conducted with respect for our soldiers' dignity."
