On July 29 at 6:00 PM, the Shin Bet Security Service warned police about a potential infiltration by demonstrators into the Beit Lid base near Netanya, where suspects in the injury of a prisoner at Sde Teiman were taken, according to journalist Yossi Yehoshua on the Ynet website. Despite the warning, police were unprepared and failed to stop the crowd. To date, no participants in the illegal infiltration have been arrested.
On Monday evening, after learning that the detained soldiers were no longer at Sde Teiman, demonstrators moved to the Beit Lid base, which also houses a military court. The riots near Beit Lid continued late into the night. Demonstrators, joined by MK Tali Gotlib (Likud), initially tried to block the base entrance. Once they realized the suspects were already inside, they attempted to breach the base, eventually succeeding. About 20 people entered the military court building. During the protests, Kan Corporation journalist Hadass Greenberg was attacked.
There is no consensus on how the demonstration ended. The police press service stated that "law enforcement agencies acted to ensure compliance with the law near the Beit Lid base." However, some media reported that the police did nothing and that the demonstrations ended by the protesters' own decision.
