Ismail Haniyeh accuses Israel of killing Saleh al-Arouri and violating Lebanon's sovereignty
Ismail Haniyeh, Chairman of the Hamas' Political Bureau, accused Israel of killing his deputy, Saleh al-Arouri, describing it as a "heinous crime," "act of terror," and "violation of Lebanon's sovereignty."
Haniyeh stated that Hamas has witnessed numerous such assassinations in the past, following the killings of Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and one of the group's leaders, Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi. According to Haniyeh assures that the assassination "won't affect Hamas's struggle."
