White House: No grounds to believe Israel is involved in explosions in Iran

John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications for the National Security Council, stated that there is "no indication" that Israel was behind the explosions in Iran, which claimed the lives of over a hundred people.

Earlier, a similar statement was made by the official spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller. During a briefing, he told journalists, "The US is not involved in the explosions in Iran and has no grounds to believe Israel was."

Israeli army spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, when asked by a correspondent from the Kan media corporation about the explosions in Iran, responded that "the IDF is currently fully focused on Hamas."

However, Iran believes that Israel and the US are behind the explosions. Iranian brigadier general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and commander of its Quds Force division, Esmail Qaani, stated that the "acts of terror" were carried out by "agents of the Zionist regime and the US."

Iranian television showed a crowd at the site of the attack chanting, "Death to Israel! Death to America!"

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement saying that Tehran will utilize all international mechanisms to hold accountable those responsible for these attacks.
