The extremist group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the bombing attack in Kerman that killed 83 people.
In a statement, the Islamic State said: "Brothers Omar al-Mowahid and andSayefulla al-Mujahid approached a large gathering of Shiites at the tomb of General Qassim Suleimani and detonated explosive belts, killing many godless Shiites."
The Iranian news agency Tasnim published a photograph of the suicide bombers, which was taken from the IS statement. The editorial comments of Tasnim stated that the United States and Israel created the terrorist group.
