Iranian security forces have arrested 11 individuals suspected of involvement in the two bombings near a cemetery in the city of Kerman, where Qasem Soleimani is buried. The Islamic Republic News Agency reported the news, citing the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence.
One of the two suicide bombers is believed to hold Tajikistan citizenship.
The Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Kerman, which killed 83 people. In a statement, ISIS said: "Brothers Al-Mohed and Saif Allah Al-Mujahid came to a large gathering of Shiites near the grave of Qasem Soleimani in Kerman and detonated explosive belts, killing many Shiite infidels."
