Gaza Ministry of Health reports 25,700 deaths since start of war
The Gaza Ministry of Health, affiliated with Hamas, reported on January 24 that since the start of hostilities on October 7 in the Gaza Strip, 25,700 people have been killed, and 63,740 have been injured to varying degrees.
However, this information cannot be independently verified due to the large number of deaths, often involving mass burials.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has consistently emphasized its inability to confirm or deny the accuracy of the data provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health regarding casualties.
According to IDF reports, dozens of militants from terrorist groups are being eliminated daily in Gaza. The IDF claims that approximately 10,000 militants and their commanders have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the war.
