Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, stated in a press conference after he visited Lebanon that the United States and Iran have been exchanging messages regarding the hostilities between Israel and Hamas.

"We've been in communication with the Americans since the start of the war, and even in recent weeks. They've urged us to press Hezbollah not to initiate a full-scale war with Israel," the politician mentioned.

The situation along the Lebanon-Israel border remains tense. Tens of thousands of residents from both countries have been displaced. While the IDF and Hezbollah are exchanging fire, they are attempting to maintain control over the situation.
