British maritime security company Ambrey announced that a Greek cargo ship, sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands, was attacked with two rockets while in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, connecting the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean.

Earlier, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) coordination center reported an "incident" in the Red Sea, approximately 40 nautical miles south of the Yemeni port city of Mokha.

The coordination center advised vessels to exercise caution when navigating the area and urged them to report any suspicious activity to UKMTO. Authorities are conducting an investigation. No further details are available at this time.
