The U.S. Central Command announced that on February 13, the United States and the United Kingdom conducted new strikes on Houthi targets in the Yemeni province of Hodeidah. According to Houthi reports, drone launchers, rockets, and ammunition depots were targeted.
The strikes were in response to an attack on the cargo ship Star Iris, owned by a Greek shipping company and sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands. It was transporting corn from Brazil to Iran. However, the Houthis claimed it was an American vessel.
