PA prime minister on talks with Hamas: We need to stop focusing on events of October 7
Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, who is attending the Munich Security Conferencea, confirmed that the Fatah movement has received an invitation to talks among all Palestinian factions scheduled to take place in Moscow on February 26.
"We are ready to engage. If Hamas is not then that’s a different story. We need Palestinian unity," he said, referring to the terrorist group as an integral part of the Palestinian political landscape.
Asked about the possibility of dialogue with a group that carried out heinous crimes on October 7, Shtayyeh indicated that the world needs to forget the massacre happened.
