Iran blames Israel for explosions on main gas pipeline
Iran's Oil Minister Javad Owji told reporters after a cabinet meeting that Israel was behind twin sabotage attacks against Iranian gas pipelines that disrupted supplies in the country last week.
The official stated that Israel's attack wasn't successful. "By planning this sabotage, the enemy aimed to disrupt gas supplies in many provinces, leaving people without gas. But the plot was foiled," he said.
Earlier, state media reported a twin explosion on a gas pipeline that transports gas from the South Pars to the Caspian Sea disrupted supplies to Lorestan, Zanjan, and North Khorasan.
