On February 21, at approximately 1:20 PM, new explosions were reported in Damascus by Syrian media. The details are currently being clarified.

Earlier on February 21, the Syrian state agency SANA reported that the IDF air force targeted a site in Damascus, specifically in the Kafar Souseh area.

Based on photos and videos released from the scene, it appears that a specific apartment within a residential building was the target, indicating a likely deliberate strike.

Opposition Syrian sources claim that the targets were "foreigners."

The London-based monitoring group, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), states that at least two people were killed in the IDF strike in the Kafar Souseh area of Damascus.

According to the Syrian opposition website Kul al-Bira, three people were killed and eight wounded at the site.

SOHR later confirmed the deaths of three individuals: two were apparently the intended targets, while the third, a civilian, was killed by falling concrete debris while near or within the lower part of the building.

The missile struck an apartment within a residential building, resulting in destruction of the apartment and damage to the building.

SOHR notes that the target was in an area frequented by leaders of Hezbollah and Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

SOHR stated, "The operation is similar to the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the Hamas politburo."

However, the identities of those killed have not yet been disclosed.

Further details are still being clarified.
