The United States Central Command says that on February 24 at around 23:50 (Sanaa Yemen time), American and British forces, alongside allies, conducted strikes against 18 Houthi targets in Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist-controlled areas of Yemen.

According to the statement, the strikes targeted underground weapons storage facilities, missile storage facilities, one-way attack unmanned aerial systems, air defense systems, radars, and a helicopter.

In turn, the command of the Houthi terrorist organization Ansar Allah claimed to have launched several anti-ship missiles at the American MV Torm Thor in the Gulf of Aden. Houthi representative Yahya Saria stated that several American military ships in the Red Sea were targeted with kamikaze drones.

United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, operating under the British Royal Navy, reported an attack on a vessel in the Gulf of Aden, 70 nautical miles east of the port of Djibouti. Details were not disclosed.
