UAE's floating hospital receives first Gaza patients

A floating hospital sent by the United Arab Emirates to assist the population of Gaza has begun treating its first patients in Al-Arish Port in northeastern Egypt. The hospital, equipped with 100 beds, is part of the Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation.

Dr. Falah Al Mahmoud, the hospital's chief physician, stated that the mission aims to aid Palestinians. The delegation comprises around 100 medical professionals, including surgeons, orthopedists, and anesthesiologists.

According to Arab News, the first patient admitted was a 20-year-old man from the Gaza Strip who had a shrapnel wound in his shoulder. He will require additional surgery to repair the damaged nerve.
