The United States Central Command has reported that on February 26, American forces destroyed three unmanned surface vessels, two mobile anti-ship cruise missiles, and an armed unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to Yemen's Houthis.

"Unmanned surface vessels and anti-ship cruise missiles were prepared for launch towards the Red Sea while the UAV had already been flying over the area," the CENTCOM press release stated.

U.S. military officials assert that the weapons they discovered in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen posed a "direct threat to commercial ships and U.S. Navy vessels in the region."
