The human rights organization Refugees International asserts that the airdrop of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip via planes and helicopters primarily serves Israeli interests by bolstering the Israeli narrative.
According to the organization's head, Jeremy Konyndyk, "The actual assistance provided by this method is minimal. Those advocating for these drops and perpetuating media attention surrounding them contribute to the illusion that Israel is cooperating with efforts to address humanitarian issues."
The aid being dropped in the region includes essential supplies such as food, fuel, and medicine. This humanitarian effort is being conducted by Jordan and Egypt in collaboration with Israel, along with support from the United Arab Emirates, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.
