Israeli El Al flight LY974 bound for Tel Aviv returned to Dubai Airport just 20 minutes after takeoff.
The airline stated that the plane was compelled to land due to an unexpected technical issue.
"The plane will land as scheduled, and passengers' lives were never in jeopardy," the statement read.
According to N12 news, the emergency landing was prompted by a bird entering the plane's engine during takeoff.
