Turkish police have arrested seven individuals on suspicion of providing information to the Israeli foreign intelligence service, Mossad, in exchange for payment.

Among those arrested is a private detective and former government employee.

Reports indicate that he underwent Mossad training in Belgrade and used his professional equipment to spy on Middle Eastern companies and individuals within Turkey.

It's worth noting that since the beginning of 2024, Turkish intelligence services have uncovered at least three intelligence networks linked to Israel and arrested dozens of individuals involved in their operations.

Turkey is known as one of the centers of activity for the terrorist group Hamas. In early December 2023, a clandestine meeting of Hamas leaders took place there, attended by deputy heads of the Hamas Politburo Saleh al-Arouri, who was subsequently eliminated, and Khaled Mashal.
