The US Army Central Command (Centcom) has reported that within the last 24 hours, American troops intercepted four missiles, three unmanned aircrafts, and three unmanned boats launched by Houthi militants from Yemen in the Red Sea.
Among the intercepted weapons, one anti-ship missile and three UAVs were targeted at the destroyer Carney by the Houthis.
All were successfully shot down, resulting in no damage or casualties, according to Centcom.
Following this incident, three additional missiles and three unmanned boats were also intercepted.
