On Sunday, March 10, a ship carrying humanitarian aid for the residents of Gaza departed from the port of Larnaca in Cyprus, according to Sky News Arabia.
Upon reaching the coastal waters of Gaza, the ship is expected to anchor near the southern part of Gaza City.
The delivery of humanitarian supplies to Gaza by sea has been coordinated with Israeli authorities.
On March 8, the Prime Minister's office stated: "Israel welcomes the establishment of a sea corridor from Cyprus to the shores of Gaza, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian supplies to the civilian population of the strip."
All cargo and vessels will undergo inspection by Israeli representatives in Cyprus before proceeding to the sector.
