Israeli delegation arrives in Qatar for negotiations

An Israeli delegation, led by Mossad chief David Barnea, has arrived in Qatar to continue negotiations aimed at securing the release of Israelis who have been kidnapped and held by terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

According to reports from Kan Bet radio, the delegation did not include Ronen Bar, head of the General Security Service; instead, a senior representative from the organization was sent to Doha.

The night before, Israel's participation in the delegation was discussed in both the "narrow" military cabinet and the military-political cabinet. The latter meeting lasted over three hours, during which cabinet members granted the delegation authority to negotiate.
