IDF aircraft strikes suburbs of Damascus, says Syrian Ministry of Defense

Lebanese Al-Mayadeen news channel, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported explosions in the suburbs of Damascus on the night of March 19.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated in its X-page that the Syrian army's air defenses had been activated.

According to initial reports, the strikes targeted locations in the city of Yabrud, approximately 80 km from Damascus, near the border with Lebanon.

Arab sources attribute this attack to the Israeli army.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated, “Today, around 02:10 (Damascus time), the Israeli enemy conducted air aggression from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, targeting several military positions in Damascus province. Our air defense systems responded to the missiles and intercepted several of them. The aggression resulted in limited material damage."
