Syrian sources: Israeli forces allegedly kill 'state security' employee near border
The Abu Ali Express Telegram channel, citing Syrian opposition sources, reported on March 18 that the Israeli military fired shots at a Syrian security officer in the Quneitra area.
According to the publication, Mahmoud Abu Ratab, an employee of the Syrian "state security" apparatus, was injured while near the border with Israel.
Subsequently, the Israeli military allegedly crossed into Syrian territory, abducted him, and later, according to Syrian sources, Abu Ratab's body was found on Syrian soil.
The IDF has not provided any comment on this information.
