Iraq announces elimination of ISIS leader

On Thursday, March 28, Iraqi military officials announced the elimination of Samir Khader Al-Nimrawi, one of the leaders of the terror group Islamic State.

The statement indicated that Samir Khader Al-Nimrawi was responsible for the transportation of terrorists, weapons, equipment, and explosives across the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

According to available information, the terrorist commander was eliminated near the border with Syria.
