Israel allegedly carried out an airstrike on checkpoints in southwestern Syria, in the Daraa area, late in the evening of March 30, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports.
Syrian media claim that the Israeli Air Force carried out the airstrikes.
Israeli sources report that the attack coincided with the interception of “a suspicious aerial target” that was making its way into Israel from Syria. The IDF says that the target was shot down before entering Israeli airspace.
