Another Quds Commander eliminated in Damascus
Saudi TV channel Al-Hadath named another Quds Force officer killed in Damascus: "Brigadier General" Mohammad-Hadi Haji-Rahimi, deputy commander in Syria and Lebanon.
Earlier, Al-Arabiya TV reported that the IDF targeted Quds Force commander Mohammad Reza Zahedi in Damascus, former head of the IRGC air force.
An IDF strike near the Iranian consulate in Damascus killed six Iranians, including diplomats. Iranian media said the Iranian ambassador to Syria was unharmed.
Iran's Ambassador to Damascus, Hussein Akbari, stated Israel's attack on the embassy disregards international laws and norms.
Explosions in Damascus were reported after 5:00 PM. Al-Arabiya TV said the Israeli Air Force targeted a building near the Iranian consulate, now an embassy.
Syrian sources said Israeli planes attacked over the Golan Heights. The air defense system engaged, intercepting some missiles. The strike destroyed the building, causing casualties inside.
