Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah delivered an unplanned speech on April 3, which has been cited by Lebanese and Israeli media outlets.
"The Zionist enemy does not need the resolutions of the UN Security Council or the demands of the world's countries. International laws do not concern it," Nasrallah said.
He emphasized that the cessation of hostilities on the Lebanese-Israeli border still depends on whether Israel ceases military actions in Gaza and "other fronts."
"Some focus on the number of casualties and ignore the achievements of the resistance. Operation Al-Aqsa Flood (known internationally as the October 7 attack) has brought Israel to the brink of the abyss and its ultimate disappearance. We must act to emerge from the battle as victors; the Zionist enemy and all who stand behind it must be defeated," the Hezbollah leader stated.
