Egyptian President meets head of CIA in Cairo

On Sunday, April 7, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with William Burns, the head of the US CIA, in Cairo.

A statement from the office of the Egyptian President said, "The discussions focused on the joint efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."

Israeli delegations, led by Mossad leader David Barnea, and representatives from the terrorist organization Hamas are expected to arrive in Cairo soon for further indirect negotiations.
