The IDF has struck targets on the Syrian territory more than 50 times since the start of the war on October 7, according to reports from Syrian state media, opposition outlets, and London-based monitoring group The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The IDF typically used manned or unmanned aircraft to hit the targets.

For comparison, in the six months before the October 7 attacks, there were reports of fewer than 20 IDF strikes on targets in Syria. From October 2022 to April 2023, there were reports of 18 such attacks.

Thus, the intensity of IDF strikes on targets in Syria increased two to three times in the six months following the October 7 attacks.
