Hamas delegation leaves Cairo to consult with leaders
The Hamas delegation has left Cairo and headed for consultations with the leadership of the terror group. Sources within Hamas claim that there has been no progress in the negotiations and blame Israel for this.
Egyptian mediators expressed cautious optimism ahead of the current round of talks, but the Israeli delegation warned that a deal has not yet emerged. The Israeli team remains in Cairo.
According to a senior member of the Israeli delegation, the negotiations might be successful, but patience is required as the parties are still far from reaching an agreement.
