Beruit-based daily newspaper Al-Akhbar, which has ties to Hezbollah, reports, citing Hamas representatives, that they are not interested in continuing hostage talks with Israel until Israel doesn't agree to complete cessation of hostilities and withdrawal of IDF forces from the Gaza Strip.
"The Palestinian resistance leadership has come to a clear conclusion that the Zionist enemy does not wish to facilitate the conclusion of an agreement," sources in the Hamas leadership told Al-Akhbar.
"The pressure exerted on the Palestinian side by all parties, Arab and international organizations, will not change this position," Hamas stated.
Hamas, in coordination with Hezbollah, often uses Al-Akhbar as a platform for unofficial statements.
