National Security Advisor to the US President, Jake Sullivan, announced that the American side will impose additional sanctions against Iran in the coming days. These sanctions will target Iran's missile and drone programs, as well as entities supporting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
Sullivan stated that Washington expects its allies and partners to also implement sanctions against Tehran.
"These new sanctions and measures aim to maintain pressure to contain and reduce the effectiveness of Iran's military capabilities and counter its full range of activities," Sullivan said.
Additionally, the United States will continue efforts to enhance and expand the integration of air defense, missile defense, and early warning systems in the Middle East, emphasized the National Security Adviser to the American President.
