On the night of April 20, a powerful explosion was reported at the military base of Kalsu in the Iraqi province of Babylon, south of Baghdad, where forces of the pro-Iranian paramilitary group The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) were stationed.
Al-Arabiya channel reported that one person was killed and two others were injured as a result of the explosion.
The leadership of the PMF claimed that there was an airstrike.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the US forces were not behind a reported strike.
Israeli authorities have not commented on the report.
