Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who also serves as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, recently met with commanders of the Iranian armed forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. During the meeting, he expressed gratitude to the IRGC for its strike against Israel.
"The number of missiles launched and their specific targets is of secondary importance. What truly matters is that the Iranian people and their armed forces have showcased the strength of their determination to the world," stated the Ayatollah.
He urged the military leadership to remain abreast of modern developments. "It is imperative to embrace innovation and continually study the military strategies of our adversaries," he emphasized, as reported by the IRNA agency.
It's important to note that the Ayatollah's regime is actively downplaying the impact of the retaliatory strike attributed to Israel. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the weapons used in the attack were described as "toys," and he asserted that there is no conclusive evidence linking the incident to Israel.
