Israeli state radio Kan Bet quoted a senior Jordanian source as saying that Jordan would not, under any circumstances, accept Hamas leaders if they were forced to leave Qatar.
This statement was made in response to remarks by Mousa Abu Marzook, a member of the Hamas Politburo, who stated the previous day that senior Hamas representatives would relocate to Jordan if compelled to leave Qatar.
It's worth noting that in 1999, the Hashemite Kingdom authorities banned Hamas activities on its territory, leading to Mousa Abu Marzook's departure from Jordan at that time.
