Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahianon the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting in the capital of The Gambia. The main topics of discussion were the situation in the Gaza Strip and advancing bilateral relations.
According to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the parties agreed to continue consultations on issues of mutual interest aimed at fully normalizing relations.
